The End Of The World And Optimism

Greeetings my dear friends...

Today me, yes, me, for the first time, is going to talk to you about the end of the world. I believe you all have heard of it. According to the Mayan calendar, the world is going to end at 2012. The Mayan calendar ends at 2012. It may obviously show that the Mayans know something that we don't. What could it be? I do not dare to even think bout it. It's kind of sad though, for me to have only enjoyed my life for ten and more years (I am not going to reveal my age!).

There are also beliefs of netizens that Planet Nibiru , a planet that was also known as Planet X, will collide with Earth in a few years time, on December 21st, 2012. The planet was first spotted by people who were living around Iran and Iraq 6000 years ago. She orbits across the eight planets in the Solar System, and will need 3600 years to make one revolution. It was also known that the planet can be spotted from the South Pole with the naked eye (If you are giggling, stop it, childish.). In response to the popular rumour, a representative from NASA has stood up and clarified that there is no such thing as Planet Nibiru and that everything on the Internet is false. Also, the representative has pointed out that the end of the Mayan calendar may not be the end of the world. It may be just like our calendar, where it ends at the last day of the year, and you will have to change a new one. It may be the start of a new year.

The head of the Astronomy Club of Singapore has also stated that the details were not even logical. You see, every year, there are rumours on the web that around August, Mars, which is the nearest planet to Earth, can be seen in the sky, similar to the size of the Moon. But it has never happened before!

Scientists have also said that they have not heard of any planet of Niribu. Hmm...seems that the web rumour is considered as fake now. Out! Anyway, scientists have proven that it is impossible for Earth to explode, disappear or even end. Even if it will, we wouldn't know when.

And then again, even if the world is going to end very soon, we must remain optimistic. Live life to the fullest and enjoy things while they last. Tresure every moment. Hey hey hey!!

Hi friends!! It is about time we post the first topic. I will be explaining the procedures again so LISTEN UP. Don't understand anything, ASK.

As the title says, the topic is:Do you think that being envious is counted as one of the seven deadly sin?

WT: Okay, my own thoughts huh? I feel that it MAY be one of the SEVEN DEALDLY SIN if someone takes it too hard. Some might even go to inhuman extremes just because they are envious! Of course, I have to admit that I do get envious sometimes but then, I will then question myself, "What for?" Also, please do not forget that ENVY and JEALOUSY is 2 completely different things.

jealousy: 1.a jealous disposition, attitude, or feeling

2. zealous vigilance

I get envious so many times that it is IMPOSSIBLE to count! Especially of my little sister. Come on...Those older siblings out there...You know how I feel.Tata...
